Temperature | Dracaena likes lots of sunlight, but it must be indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves and cause them to dry out. Not enough light, and the leaves may turn yellow and die. Near a sunny window is a good location for this plant. Periodically rotate the pot so that each side can catch some rays.
Watering | Caring for Red-Margined Dracaena plants is easy in terms of watering. These plants can tolerate periods of infrequent watering but are sensitive to excessive watering. Root rot, browning leafs and leaf drop and other performance problems may occur from excessive watering or soil that does not allow proper drainage. Take care when watering Red-Margined Dracaena plants with tap water as they are highly sensitive to nutrition inadequacies. Excessive amounts of fluoride can lead to yellowing leaf tips. Boron and calcium deficiencies may also cause performance problems.
Fertiliser &Soil | Feed the Red Margined Dracaena once a year at the start of the growing season. Use a balanced, slow-release plant food to jump-start new growth. Feeding this plant during the fall and winter isn't necessary if it is not actively growing.
